چکیده

Abstract This watchfulness goal is to decide the beginning and ending binding of geopolymer binders using coconut fiber ash (CFA). Experiments were carried out by comparing effects ratio precursors base activators on binders. The precursor material derived from CFA, which consists 8.24% silicon dioxide, 2.3% diphosphate pentaoxide, 70.6% potassium oxide, 2.25% iron 14.1% chlorine. Using two types alkaline activators, namely NaOH (SH) with a molar concentration 14M Na 2 SiO 3 (SS), used as solution in manufacturing process. A comparison activator mixtures three variations, 70%:30%, 75%:25%, 80%:20%, SS/SH 1:1, 1.5, 2:1 weight. specimens are cast vicat ring top bottom diameters ∅60mm ∅70mm, well height 40mm. setting time test standard SNI 2049:2015. results showed that times binder got shorter P/A higher, 5%–20% decreased average.

Fly Ash-Based Geopolymer Mortar Incorporating Bottom Ash

This paper presents the results of study on effect of various parameters on mechanical properties of fly ash-based geopolymer mortar with bottom ash as partial or full replacement for sand. Compressive strength of samples with 10% bottom ash (BA) was comparable to those with only sand. Further increase in bottom ash content decreased the compressive strength. However, the reverse tendency occur...

ALKALI Activated FLY-ASH Based Geopolymer Concrete

Considering the increasing demand for developing alternative construction materials, due to the growing environmental concerns, this paper discusses the feasibility of alkali activated geo-polymer concrete, as a future construction material. The main objective of this study involves observation of structural behaviours of the fresh fly ash-based geo-polymer concrete, understanding the basic mix...

A Comprehensive Study of the Polypropylene Fiber Reinforced Fly Ash Based Geopolymer

As a cementitious material, geopolymers show a high quasi-brittle behavior and a relatively low fracture energy. To overcome such a weakness, incorporation of fibers to a brittle matrix is a well-known technique to enhance the flexural properties. This study comprehensively evaluates the short and long term impacts of different volume percentages of polypropylene fiber (PPF) reinforcement on fl...

Acid Resistance of Fly ash based Geopolymer mortars

Geopolymers are a new promising binder manufactured by activation of a solid aluminosilicate source material with a highly alkaline activating solution and aided by heat. Fly ash, considered to be a waste material is rich in silica and alumina and hence can be used as a source material for manufacture of Geopolymers. These binders have been reported to achieve high early strength and better dur...

Fly Ash-based Geopolymer Lightweight Concrete Using Foaming Agent

In this paper, we report the results of our investigation on the possibility of producing foam concrete by using a geopolymer system. Class C fly ash was mixed with an alkaline activator solution (a mixture of sodium silicate and NaOH), and foam was added to the geopolymeric mixture to produce lightweight concrete. The NaOH solution was prepared by dilute NaOH pellets with distilled water. The ...
